Banff Getaway Weekend

I love the beauty and diversity of Canada from coast to coast to coast (yes three – Atlantic, Pacific and Arctic). Canada is a photographer’s playground – seascapes, forests, prairies, tundra, ice caps, lakes, rivers… The list goes on and on. I love them all but I will always hold a special place in my heart for one particular Canadian landscape – the Canadian Rocky Mountains. I live relatively close to the mountains (not far by Canadian standards anyway – a 4 hour drive) and in a way I think it’s a good thing that the Rockies are not right on my doorstep because when I visit it’s an experience to be savoured and appreciated.
